113 Composers Collective is very excited to welcome Richard Barrett (Institute of Sonology in Den Haag and at the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts at Leiden University) and Milana Zaric to the Twin Cities! 113 performers will be joining Barrett and Zaric for two different portrait concerts of improvised works by Barrett on November 21 and 22.

Eastman’s vibrant, virtuosic, and rhythmically aggressive music, and the racially and sexually charged nature of his work challenged the musical establishment and anti-establishment alike in the 1970s and 1980s, greatly impacting the trajectory of American minimalism.
